The Future of Payment and Commerce Conference (FoPCC) began in 2023 as the Paycom Conference, created to bring together the innovators, institutions, businesses and thinkers shaping Africa's rapidly evolving payment ecosystem.
The first edition, themed “Leveraging the Power of Contactless Payment for Financial Inclusion,” opened conversations around the transformation of how people pay, transact and participate in the economy.
In 2024, the journey continued with “Unlocking the Future of Transactions,” expanding the conversation beyond payments to the technologies, business models and opportunities redefining commerce.
By 2025, FoPCC had evolved into a growing platform for meaningful industry conversations, connections and collaboration, bringing together leaders across financial services, fintech, technology, commerce, government and enterprise.
